Moments
Here are a list of moments between InuYasha x Kikyou that we have choosen to remember and commenerate the couple for. If you have a moment you wish to see posted here then contact us.

 
Moment One
Episode 15; Hiun no Miko Kikyou Fukkatsu [Return of the Tragic Priestess Kikyou]

Kikyou returns from the dead and the entire situation of who betrayed who is now brought up. The two lovers face off for the first time in fifty years. Kikyou still thinks InuYasha has betrayed her and beings to try and exact her revenge on him by trying to kill him with purifying arrows [read more about this here]. However, she is stopped by Kagome because Kagome recalls most of her soul back rom Kikyou's new body of clay, bone and ashes. Kikyou leaves so as to keep the bit of her soul before Kagome can call it back.

 
Moment Two
Episode 23; Kagome no Koe to Kikyou no Kuchizuke [Kikyou's Kiss and Kagome's Voice]

Kagome comes upon Kikyou who is sleeping. Kikyou uses her shinidimachuu to tie up Kagome against a tree and uses a spell to hide her. InuYasha comes into the clearing and is stunned to see Kikyou there. The two begin arguing until InuYasha claims, 'I have never forgotten you! Not even for a moment!. Kikyou then walks up to InuYasha and says she had wanted to do 'this' more often when she was alive and kisses InuYasha. Kagome watches as the two lovers then hug, Kikyou looking sad and longing in InuYasha's embrace.

 
Moment Three
Episode 64; Tahoutou no Kyodaina Oni [Giant Ogre of the Forbidden Tower]

An old rival of Kikyou's past appears and who is also the partner in her death; Tsubaki. The woman who cursed Kikyou against love tries to take the shikon no kakera from the InuYasha group. Kikyou threatens Tsubaki that if she hurts InuYasha, she will personally kill her herself. After InuYasha and the group are walking away after defeating an ogre and Tsubaki, they ready to leave for their next adventure. All the while Kikyou had watched the group fight the dark miko [priestess] and had even rid of Tsubaki's curse on Kagome. Just as InuYasha is leaving, he stops when he hears something like somone running behind a tree. He gets ready to look for the the person but Kagome calls for him and he begins to walk away. Kikyou watches from behind a tree and hides again. She does not want InuYasha to know she was there. She then gets ready to leave herself while looking sad when she thinks, 'My love is my obsession.' Admitting she still loves InuYasha.

 
Moment Four
Episode 124; Saraba Itoshiki Kikyou yo [Farewell Comes, Dear Kikyou]

Naraku has tricked Kikyou into coming into his grasp on Mnt Hakurei. He had lead her there so he may kill and rid of her for he is afraid of her powers and the fact she is his only enemy able to break through his barriers. Kikyou confronts Naraku on his plans and tries to fight him off only to end up being gravely injured on the shoulder and being pushed into Naraku's shouki. Naraku, thinking he has finally rid of Kikyou, leaves the mountain side. While Kikyou fell to her death, her last thoughts were of InuYasha and her love of him and she is even heard whispering, 'InuYasha'. InuYasha begins to have a bad feeling and rushes to where Kikyou and Naraku fought. There, he finds her broken bow and presumes Kikyou is dead when he sees her shindimachuu go into the shouki. InuYasha falls to the ground and grasps Kikyou's bow while punching the ground, trying to not cry while he demands why he had not protected Kikyou yet again. His guilt and confusion over come him and InuYasha finds himself faced with the loss of his first love again.

 
Moment Five
Episode 147-148; Meguriau Mae no Unmei Renka [A Fateful Love Song Before We Met]

InuYasha is in his state of being ningen [human] because it is the full moon. InuYasha goes into hiding in the forest only to see an injured, exhausted Kikyou there. This is the first time they meet. Kikyou demands if he knows what the Shikon no Tama is and he doesn't. Kikyou does to leave only to faint from exhaustion. InuYasha comes towards her and waits with her until the villagers find Kikyou and birng her back to the village. After that, they interact more and thus begins their relationship. Moment Six
Episode 147-148; Meguriau Mae no Unmei Renka [A Fateful Love Song Before We Met]

Kikyou asks InuYasha to sit beside her and they talk with out violence for the first time. Kikyou tells InuYasha she could not kill him all those times he had tried to take the jewel from her because she felt they were alike because the were different from every body else. Kikyou asks InuYasha if she looks human and InuYasha calls her crazy and begins to walk away. Kikyou agrees with InuYasha and calls herself foolish. InuYasha feels guilty and tells Kikyou he has a present for her and to come to the field tomorrow. Kikyou tells InuYasha she has a gift for him as well. The next day, InuYasha gives Kikyou a present most dear to him; his mothers shell locket that holds lipstick in it. Kikyou is touched and puts away her present; an obediance necklace [the one Kagome uses]. She does not feel she needs to control InuYasha and chooses to trust him.

 
Moment Seven
Episode 147-148; Meguriau Mae no Unmei Renka [A Fateful Love Song Before We Met]

Leaving InuYasha in the field, Kikyou returns home. Thinking her sister, Kaede, is asleep, Kikyou takes out a mirror and the lipstick InuYasha gave her. Kikyou tries on the lipstick InuYasha gave her and smiles for the first time out of happiness. Kikyou stares at herself in the mirror and touches her cheek as if she is amazed by what a bit of rouge can do to her looks. Kaede, who was preteending to sleep, thinks to herself about how much Kikyou smiles now and how beautiful she looked. She remarks how significally her sister has changed from the solemn, serious girl to this happier woman because of InuYasha.

 
Moment Eight
Episode 147-148; Meguriau Mae no Unmei Renka [A Fateful Love Song Before We Met]

Kikyou tells InuYasha that she is tired of fighting after Kaede is injured. InuYasha asks her what she wants to do and Kikyou mentions that if InuYasha was to become ningen [human] both he and herself could stop fighting. He would be normal and the jewel would be gone. InuYasha is hesitant to agree so the two go on a boat ride to clear their thoughts. Soon they are at the docks and InuYasha exits the boat and waits for Kikyou. Kikyou also exits the boat but trips on her pants while walking on the dock. InuYasha catches her and the two stare at each other. InuYasha cries out Kikyou's name and says he is going to become a human so they can be together. InuYasha is about to say he loves Kikyou when she kisses him. This is their very first kiss ever. Its a real sweet moment ^^.

 
Moment Nine
Episode 149; Haran wo Yobu Ippon no Ya [An Arrow Brewing Up a Disturbance]

InuYasha and the group are faced with Hakodoushi and the demon horse, Entei. The group had been trying to lead the villagers away from Abi-Hime's birds who wish to take their blood to revive their sick Queen. InuYasha and the others had also been searching for the infamed Hijiri-sama only to have Hakodoushi and his demon horse, Entei, come and stop the group. InuYasha can not break Hakodoushi's barrier around both he and the demon horse, Entei. InuYasha even tries the Akai Tessaiga [Red Tessaiga] which is meant to destroy barriers but does not succeed. Just as everyone assumes Hakodoushi's barrier is indestructable, Hijiri-sama [Kikyou] and her shikigami come into view on a cliff out of sight of the group and InuYasha. Hijiri-sama extracts an arrow and releases it. The power of the arrow destroys Hakodoushi's barrier. InuYasha uses an attack that destroys everything except for Entei and Hakodoushi's head. Hakodoushi flees while Entei fights InuYasha but in the end, is destroyed by InuYasha in a cave.InuYasha returns to the group and sees the arrow that rid of the barrier, its head stuck in the mountain side. Extracting, it he questions if Kikyou really is dead since she is the only once who could destroy a barrier that strong.

 
Moment Ten
Episode 150; Seija wo Michibiku Hushigina Hikari [Mysterious Light Leading The Saint]

While the group are gone to fight Abi-Hime, InuYasha tries to find Hijiri-sama. After a lot of searching, InuYasha finally finds Hijiri-sama. The white horse rider appears with the two small shikigami while Kagura hides in the tree line. InuYasha confronts the white-masked person and instead of recieving an answer, Kagura enters the scene and sends a wind attack on the person. Hijiri-sama doesn't block the attack and the white mask is torn to shreds, revealing Kikyou's face beneath the cloth. InuYasha is shocked to see Kikyou's face and underneath the torn rob and yells her name, thinking she had died [again O.o]. Her body becoming nothing more then her robs and dust, InuYasha runs to Kikyou's remains and goes to touch them. He uncovers the person had only been a copy; a paper doll such as Kikyou's shikigami. Kagura disappears, happy. She says she is happy that Kikyou is still alive for Kikyou is Naraku's greatest nemisis; the only one he truly fears. Kagura then leaves, leaving InuYasha alone. Standin there, InuYasha holds the white mask and now knows Kikyou is still alive. The scene then zooms out to show a near by Kikyou flower blowing in the wind, beside InuYasha [symbolic meaning right there o.o]

 
Moment Eleven
Episode 154; Anoyo to Tsunagaru Youkai [The Demon Linking to The Next World]

InuYasha is confronted by Kikyou's shikigami who lead him to a very weak Kikyou. She is still injured from Naraku's shouki. Kikyou tells him information on how to get to the other world and of the demon that is linked to it. She then gives him an arrow to give to Kagome. The arrow will allow Kagome to use some of Kikyou's powers to kill or atleast damage Naraku while they are in InuYasha's Father's tomb where the last shikon no kakera [jewel shard] has been located. Kikyou gets up to walk away only but finds herself to be too weak and almost falls. InuYasha catches her and tells her she's too weak to do that now. Kikyou tells him she is fine and as powerful as ever and looks away, obviously uncomfortable with being found in such a weak state. InuYasha later leaves and gives the arrow to a curious Kagome. He admits he went to see Kikyou and Kagome accepts the information calmly.
