Here are some frequently asked questions are finally answered by us, the staff. If you have any questions that are not listed here, then please fill out the contact form.

The name was thought and made up by the webmistress, SilentAngel, after a year of running the original site, Kikyo Shinto [now owned by Niongi] was given away to a friend by the staff.

A new, larger Kikyou site was then being made and a name was needed. SilentAngel then choose the name Forsaken Love: Ghostly Memories after watching Episode 147&148: Meguriau Mae no Unmei Renka [A Fateful Love Song Before We Met]. The Forsaken Love part represents the well known fact that Kikyou was placed under a cruse by Tsubaki to force the miko to have an unnatural death if she ever loved yet Kikyou still choose to love InuYasha. The Ghostly Memories part is to symbolise Kikyou's memories of InuYasha from their ghostly past. Kikyou is just a soul trapped in a clay body for now, making her a paranormal ghost-figure in a way.

This is assumed by many Flamers that we, the Staff, hate Kagome and the InuYashaxKagome pairing. In fact, this is entirely not true. We have a InuYashaxKagome site and a Kagome shrine that is just as large as this Kikyou one. Just because we support Kikyou and her relationship with InuYasha does not mean we do not support other ideas. Reality is, Kikyou will die eventually yet again and reside back in the underworld.

InuYasha, on the other hand, has many centuries to live because he ages a lot slower then humans because of his demon blood. Kagome may be immature and a bit loud at times but it is obvious she cares for InuYasha and, if she matures enough, might love him to a grown-up level. Then again she is only 15 so she has a lot of time to ponder her relationship with InuYasha while Kikyou does not. So no we are not anit-Kagome, Kagome x InuYasha in anyway. [Look at our front page; why would we place a support I/K banner there...for decoration? -_-U!]

Yes as long as you give is credit on every page of the layout. We take the time to scan and edit these images ourselves and to have them taken because you can not do that yourself is infuriating.

Or anything else. We have lives. We have friends, family, jobs, school...we can not constantly be e-mailing over 100-300 people a week with stuff they want. Either upload and make stuff yourself or look on the web. We are not the local InuYasha suppliers. We are simple teenagers running InuYasha sites for you to be entertained; not to give you stuff.

No no no no!-growls- Sorry but we are very adimant about this. Not only have we stated this in the Terms of Use but we have gone to the extent of water-marking most of our stuff and making a black list for people who still ignore us! T_T!

We work hard for everything you see here so we expect you, the visitor, to accept the fact we had to make/create and give aay our time of our lives to get all the stuff you see before you here on this site. And now you want to ask if you can have our hard work? Umm no?

Truthfully, all of us [the staff] have no problem giving little tips and hints on HTML or php. But we will not put up your site for you or make it. We had to learn because we wanted a site you must learn as well if you want one.

We are picky about affiliates to be blunt. Go to the the affiliates|affiliation page to see if your site meets the requirments listed there. We do not take geocities, tripod, angelfire...nothing like that. You can not have over 20 affiliates. What we have noticed over the last five-six years we have been web-designing is that it seems the term "Affiliate" is no longer respectful or specail any more. People are "affiliating" with any one and so far has no standards. -sigh-.

Never! XD! But to make a sensible answer to this for this site will eventually have to close sooner or later, we hope to close Forsaken Love: Ghostly Memories when;

The popularity of InuYasha dies down (which has due to the fact the Anime has been ceased on production so now people have to by the Manga)

We lose interest in InuYasha

SilentAngel, the webmistress, has the honor of watching all her DIVX InuYasha dvds, going through different sites on news of updates and reading her manga every Saturday and Sunday. Since she writes all the information, she must research it herself. We are always careful of taking information fom the web because fanfictions (fan made stories based off InuYasha) tend to spread rumours of the show.

For example, one rumour in 2002 went around that InuYasha and Kagome were married by the end of the series and had children and Kagome had used the Shikon no Tama to become a hanyou [half-demon]. The series wasn't even close to be finishing and all the episodes weren't even in production yet people believed this rumour for a very long time because of a fanfiction, "Hanyou Desires".

So taking jot notes and watching the real thing and reading the Manga ourselves is a 100% fool-proof way of collecting correct information
